What we help with

Foot care tailored to your needs.

Each visit begins with a nursing assessment. Care is adapted to your needs, with referral guidance when another provider is needed.

01

Nail care

Careful trimming and filing of regular, thickened or difficult-to-manage toenails.

02

Corn & callus care

Gentle reduction of corns and calluses, with practical advice to help reduce recurrence.

03

High-risk foot assessment

A nursing foot assessment for clients living with diabetes, reduced mobility or other health concerns.

04

Skin & heel care

Support for dry skin and cracked heels, plus education for comfortable day-to-day foot care.

Services are non-emergency and provided within an RPN’s professional scope. We do not diagnose or treat active infections, open wounds or urgent foot concerns.

Good to know

Frequently asked questions.

Who can receive mobile foot care?

SureStep supports adults and older adults, including people with diabetes, reduced mobility or difficulty caring for their own feet. Suitability is confirmed before the first visit.

How long does a visit take?

Most appointments take approximately 45–60 minutes, depending on assessment findings and the care required.

Can I arrange a visit for a parent or someone in my care?

Yes. Use your own contact details when requesting care for someone else. We confirm arrangements and obtain the client’s consent before care.

Can you visit a retirement residence or long-term care facility?

Yes, subject to the residence’s requirements. Contact us for scheduling and group pricing.

Can I arrange ongoing foot care?

Natasha can recommend a follow-up schedule based on your assessment. Appointments are subject to availability.

Do you provide receipts for insurance claims?

Yes. Ask your insurer whether your plan covers foot care provided by an RPN and which documents it requires. A receipt is provided after payment; reimbursement is not guaranteed.

How should I prepare?

Choose a sturdy chair in a well-lit space, secure pets and keep your medication list nearby. Share access instructions by phone. A health card is not required.

What if I need to cancel?

Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice whenever possible.

Is this an emergency service?

No. For urgent symptoms, infection, an open wound or sudden change in colour, temperature or pain, contact your primary care provider or seek urgent medical attention.
